Reinhard, thanks for your reply of 12/4 below! - I answer here so it gets on the top of the messages and others can discover it - I am glad that also you don't think it appropriate to speak of "Christian Logotherapy" - I don't think so that neither "Christian psychotherapy" is possible or desirable (the name itself is unfortunate, it tastes of prozelitism or discrimination).
It is interesting that you call Christotherapy an "important addendum to normal Logotherapy". After examining the techniques and underlying concepts of both, a certain parallel between Logotherapy and Christotherapy becomes evident - even if seems like it was not the Author's original intention (Logotherapy gets only a short, rather general mention in the first book, and none in the second that focuses on several other therapies and on the Spiritual Exercises). The parallel might stem from deeper causes. Maybe this sort of therapy that is open to the spiritual (Logotherapy to the noetic and Christhotherapy further to the pneumatic dimension) should have certain charateristics. - If you would like to expound more on how you understand "Christotherapy as an addendum to normal Logotherapy", it would be good.
