Thank you, Nikola, for the report on the interdisciplinary congress you attended. My own view is that there is no such thing a "religious free" or "spiritual free" psychotherapy or psychiatry. Decisions are made, points of view are held, and therapy is given - all of which come from decisions and decisions mean choices for various reasons and so ethics comes into play and ethics is based upon ultimate meaning and rightness. As long as a human person does anything or says anything, the spiritual is part of what was said or done; even the perscription of a pill or a decision to aid healing involves in some way the spiritual realm; to deny this is to be oblivious to reality and caught into the illusion of "scientific objectivity". That said, there can be and is much that is "bad" in religiosity, but more so in those who think they avoid it at all!
