This is an interesting discussion even if difficult and complicated. Maybe I would even reverse things and say that Logotherapy is a useful addendum to Christotherapy!

As I see what Fr. Tyrrell has done it has been to utilize whatever psychology or psychiatry or philosophy or other religions has to offer which can at least be incorporated into an Orthodox Catholic Christian world view. So, I would include some of Logotherapy as meeting this requirement.

Also, the whole purpose of Christotherapy seems to me to be to aid in reaching a healthier state of mental, physical and spiritual wholeness through utilizing what sources Fr. Tyrrell has presented after his discernment about these sources. Obviously much more can be added and Christotherapy is under development along the paths Fr. Tyrrell has pointed out. Christotherapy is not a panacea nor secret knowledge to perfection but a way develop without fear of going astray; this I think would be for many it's main appeal over just picking up a book by a popular psychologist or a program of some "guru".
