One might wonder how Christotherapy differs from therapies that are Christ - centered. Or, from therapies that are Christ - acceptable. Looking at this from the negative side, we no doubt all are aware of therapies that are not acceptable from the point of view of orthodox Catholic Christian teachings and practices. Then, again, there are therapies that would fall more into the notion of being borderline or doubtful. Still again, there are therapies that are based on rather naive views of what the Bible teaches taken in a sort of fundamentalist sense.

How does one sort these varying positions out and who does one trust or turn to or know who to turn to in times of need? I'm thinking a book could be written on just this topic!
