I'm reading a couple of books by Hans Urs Von Baltizar. He was Swiss but wrote in German, I suppose. I am coming to the conclusion that it is a mistake to read (much less do a Doctorate) on any theologian that doesn't write in one's mother language.  Just too much not-understandable phrases and complicated stuff that is almost gibberish when translated. On another note, the translators of works should get much glory (or it's opposite) - usually they are relegated to a footnote or mere mention. Really, a good translation is nearly a new book!
